Our Mission
Extramural Research Partners
We actively encourage federal intramural researchers to come to Wake Forest University through CIPR, working side-by-side with us on your research agenda. You will be provided offices, access to laboratories, and be provided with support through our in-house support staff. You’ll be treated as a member of the faculty of the school of medicine.

- Access to a multi-site clinical trial network (Phase 1-4) under one IRB and contracting system
- ABSL-3/BSL-3
- Large non-human primate center with full comparative medicine and pathology services
- Multiple BSL-2 labs
- Dedicated clinical trial center with separate access, ten patient rooms including six negative pressure rooms
